A Cyber Crime Thriller For Ganesh Venkatram

Ganesh Venkatram is all set to stun the audience with his upcoming film, Inayathalam. The film highlights a contemporary aspect, as it underlines social media obsession and how it impacts an individual’s life. Ganesh will be seen essaying the role of a cop who works on a case with cyber crime officers, played by Shwetha Menon and Erode Mahesh.

Talking about the plot of the film, Ganesh says, "Though social media is meant to connect people, it has also become a medium where authenticity of statements is questionable, and has led to a mindset that I would call intellectual illiteracy. The film's directors Shankar and Suresh felt that so many stories could be told on this subject and that is how they came up with this script."

He adds that his responsibility is to make sure that these roles are different from one another and stand apart. Presently, Ganesh is filming for 7 Naatkal, which is a drama-thriller. Helmed by Gautham, a former assistant of Sundar C, the film features Sakthi Vasu, Nikesha Patel and Angana Roy.
