A Promising Year For Ritika Singh

Ritika Singh carved a niche for herself with her stellar performance in Irudhi Suttru (2016). She has gained paramount prominence that she has now come on board for Shivalinga with Lawrence and Vanangamudi with Arvind Swami. Talking about her upcoming projects, the 22-year-old actress revealed that initially it was difficult for her to adapt to the environment and adjust with the crew.

Talking about her role in Shivalinga, Ritika tells Deccan Chronicle, “Shivalinga was a tough project — I did my own stunts in the film. I actually enjoyed it, as I play a character with many layers. It was challenging to switch between the many phases of the character.”

In Vanangamudi, Ritika will be seen playing a homely and sweet character, but that too has many layers. Thus the passionate and zealous Ritika also mentioned how she switched from versatile professions and now she takes pride in that she loves wearing heels and makeup. In the same context, she feels that it is not about fitting in, it’s about standing out.
