Aadhirajan Talks About His Upcoming Directorial Venture Aruvaa Sanda

Director Aadhirajan is coming up with a movie that is based on Kabaddi. Titled Aruvaa Sanda, the film stars actress Malavika Menon of Vizha fame in the lead role. It marks the kollywood debut of kabbadi champion Raja from Tirunelveli.

Talking about the film, the director said, “Aruvaa Sanda is a romantic film set against the backdrop of honour-killing. My story is inspired from real life incidents. My film’s lead protagonist is a kabbadi player and hence I chose Raja, a state level player for the crucial role. We have captured actual kabbadi matches for the film. The film will inspire upcoming kabbadi players.”

The story of the flick revolves around lovers who belong to different casts and become victims of honour killing. Apart from Malavika and Raja, the movie will feature National award winning actress Saranya Ponvannan who will be seen in an important role. She will be seen in the role which she has never portrayed so far.
