Actress Pooja Umashankar Ties Knot With Love Prasan David Vedhakan

Popular face of South Cinema, actress Pooja Umashankar has finally tied the knot. The Colombo beauty who is popular in Kollywood for strong performance in Naan Kadavul has married Prasan David Vedhakan in their home city Colombo. It was quite a brief function with only family members attending the event.

Other Tamil flicks in which she appeared were Jay Jay, Attagasam, Jithan, Pattiyal, Thambi and was prominently in the headlines when ace Bala choice for Naan Kadavul. Lately she has been concentrating on Sinhalese films, mostly after giving her award-winning film Vidiyum Munn. Fans are eagerly waiting for Pooja to make her Tamil comeback once again.

Many do remember that Pooja was with Sri Lanka-based model Deepak Shanmuganathan, and duo even got engaged in the grand fashion. However, they called off their engagement due to differences in opinion. Sources close to the actress revealed that it was a love marriage and family gave their consent. Presently, the couple are on their honeymoon abroad.
