Actress Anjali back to signing films

Model and actress Anjali, who suddenly disappeared from the Industry, is all set to make a comeback. Recent report says that the actress is now interested in signing films. She is reportedly listening to scripts and deciding her next project.

According to a source close to the actress, “Anjali has been getting offers in Tamil and Malayalam. She is also committed to two films in Telugu and one in Kannada. She has put the past behind her and is concentrating on her career." The source further added, "Anjali was shooting for the last 20 days in Bangkok, Thailand for her Telugu film. It's a horror comedy, and she plays the protagonist in it. The film, a Kona Venkat project, gives her scope to perform and prove her mettle again. She has been working out to maintain her physique and is, in fact, looking better than before. She is back in Hyderabad now and is likely to come to Chennai this weekend to finalize her Tamil films."

The actress had won several awards including Filmfare award for best actress for her outstanding performance in Angadi Theru and Engaeyum Eppothum. Her personal life was in limelight, since she had a tiff with her step mother in April, last year.
