Actress Anjali goes missing from Hyderabad hotel

Settaiactress Anjali has reportedly gone missing from a hotel in Hyderabad’s Jubilee Hills since Monday morning, though her family has filed a missing complaint with the police on Tuesday evening. Following Anjali’s allegations against her family for harassing her, her brother Ravi Shanker has also repeated the same charges in his complaint that his sister was being harassed by their uncle, aunt and a movie producer for money.

It has recently come into light that Bharati Devi, who till date was known to be her mother, was actually her aunt who adopted her at the age of 15. The established actress Anjali is presently shooting for Telugu remake of Bollywood hitBol Bachchanopposite Venkatesh and Ravi Teja-starrerBalupu. Anjali was in the city for her shoot since last four days and she checked into the hotel with her uncle Suri Babu.

On Monday morning Anjali got out of the hotel and didn’t return. Her mobile was also found switched off. Her uncle Babu left for Chennai immediately without even informing the police about the incident. Shanker tried to contact his sister after reading the recent controversies, as told by Jubilee Hills

inspector D. Pradeep Kumar, "As he could not reach her on the phone, Ravi Shanker called up Devi and Babu and realised that she went missing from the hotel.” On Tuesday evening Shanker first lodged the missing complaint at the Jubilee Hills police station.
