Actress Kanaka speaks out to brush off her death rumours

Southern actress Kanaka, who was last seen onscreen in 2000, has recently broken her silence to brush off all the reports doing rounds around her health status and also her rumoured death. The actress has revealed that she is fine and in good health, hence all the news about her death is absolutely false.

Kanaka, the daughter of actress Devika, became a star with her debut film Karakattakaran in 1989, opposite Ramarajan. Recently news surfaced that the yesteryear actress is suffering from cancer and is in her last stage. Yesterday reports came up that the actress has passed away succumbing to the deadly disease. But with the latest word from the actress herself all the rumours have come to a final end. The actress who was diagnosed with cancer in January was reported to be admitted at a private hospital. The pretty actress, who has paired up opposite top actors like Rajinikanth, Mammootty, Mohanlal, Vijayakanth, Prabhu and Karthik, has acted in more than 40 films in Tamil and Malayalam.
