Actress Simran To Play Cop In Her Next

Kannathil Mutthamittal actress, Simran, has landed a significant role in her next flick, starring Arvind Swamy. The star was last seen playing a ‘Love Guru’, in Parthiban’s Koditta Idangalai Nirappuga, is now busy preparing for her role. The leading lady in the flick will be played by Ritika Singh of Irudhi Suttru.

Interestingly, she’ll be playing a cop alongside Arvind Swamy. “Yes, it is a powerful role of a police officer and is meaty, as well. I can’t divulge much more at this point”, said the actress. There were also rumours of her playing a bad cop in the movie, however, a source close to the team claimed, “She will be seen in a positive, yet aggressive role in this film”.

Other stars to feature in the flick are, Nandhitha, Chandini, Hasini, Thambi Ramaiah, Harish Utthaman, Raj Kapoor and Nagineedu. Simran is specifically working on her looks, body language and other minor areas.
