Aditi Menon Signs Two Movies

Seems like it is a busy year for Aditi Menon. The actress who made debut with the Pattadhari film has been signed for two movies. A few months ago, there were reports that filmmaker Ameer has roped her for his rural period movie Sandhanadevan which will star Arya and Sathya.

Now, director Gandhi Manivasagam has approached the actress for his upcoming movie titled Kalavani Maapillai. Gandhi Manivasagam is the son of late director/producer Manivasagam, who started a trend of combining humour with rural content. Touted to be comedy, the movie will star her opposite Dinesh.

“I am also following the tried and tested formula of my dad of making a comedy-commercial movie. The heroine's role is equally important and I was looking for someone who would perform well. After auditioning many, I finally roped in Aditi who fitted the bill,” said Gandhi. The movie will also feature, Anandaraj, Devayani, Renuka , Manobala and 'Mottai' Rajhendran who will be seen in supporting roles.
