Aditi Rao back To Star In Mani Ratnam’s Next

Actress Aditi Rao, who was recently seen in Bollywood filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali ’s magnum opus Padmaavat is all set to be back in the South industry with Mani Ratnam’s next flick. Earlier, talks were doing the round about the actress being approached for the role. And now, the latest news has confirmed that Rao will be a part of the project.

Moreover, Mani Ratnam’s next is going to be a multi starrer and it has been the buzz of South for a while now. The Raavan director’s upcoming film will be a big budget investment. It has also been heard that actors like STR, Vijay Sethupathi , Jyothika, Arvind Swami, Fahadh Faasil, Aishwarya Rajesh and Prakash Raj will be a part of the ensemble cast.

Further, the news of Aditi Rao being roped in for the film was confirmed by herself on the social media platform. She wrote, “Thrilled! Thank you... back to home ground!”. Meanwhile, in Padmaavat, Aditi played the role of Ranveer Singh ’s (Alauddin Khilji) wife Mehrunisa. AR Rahman will be scoring music for the flick.
