Aditya Menon: En Peru Rajinikanth to give tribute to Rajinikanth

Many actors, directors are big fans of superstar Rajinikanth but now we have a director who has dedicated a whole film to him. Filmmaker Faisal Saif is helming a project titled En Peru Rajinikanth and Main Hoon Rajinikanth in Hindi, where a character is named after him. Aditya Menon will essay the character of Rajinikanth, where he will be seen playing the role of a CBI officer.

Aditya talks about the same, "It's been a tradition of sorts in Hollywood to pay tribute to a legend through a song or by naming a character after them. Back home, Chennai Express paid tribute to Rajinikanth with Lungi Dance. This film is our way of paying tribute to a living legend of India." He further adds, "Rajinikanth is no longer just an individual; he is an institution. After Chuck Norris, he is the only superstar to have one liners and stories on him." The character idolizes the superstar, who is good, fights evil and is strong.

The director comments, "Since this film is a tribute, I think you need blessings more than permission. That said, we've taken all precautions to make sure that we don't hurt Rajinikanth or his fans through this film." No actress or other cast is decided upon yet.
