Ahmed Overwhelmed By Audiences’ Response For ‘Manithan’

Director I. Ahmed impressed the audiences with his last offering ‘Endrendrum Punnagai’. He has again amazed the moviegoers as well as critics with his recent release, ‘Manithan’, remake of hit Bollywood film ‘Jolly LLB’. The film is doing a decent business at the box office and is likely to run for many more days in the theatres.

During an interaction with an online portal, Ahmed said that he is overwhelmed with the response the flick has got. He said, “I’m overwhelmed at the love and appreciation we’ve been receiving for Manithan. We were very true to the story and genuinely put our heart and soul into it. I should thank Red Giant for packaging and promoting it in the manner it deserved. I can proudly say that Manithan is another hit in my career”.

Reportedly, superstar Rajinikanth called Udhayanidhi Stalin, the lead actor of the courtroom drama, after watching the film and praised him for his work.  The film was not granted tax exemption as many said that the title is not a Tamil word. The team of the film has registered a case against this and are hoping that it will soon be granted tax exemption.
