Aishwarya Dhanush Chosen UN’s Goodwill Ambassador In India

Director Aishwarya R. Dhanush has been chosen as the UN Women's Goodwill Ambassador for India. Daughter of superstar Rajinikanth and wife of Dhanush, was honoured at a ceremony in New Delhi. The event was attended by her husband and mother Latha Rajinikanth.

The real job for Aishwarya will be to spread awareness for gender equality and women empowerment in India. She is known classical dancer and a movie director. She has directed two films; these include Dhanush starrer 3 and Vai Raja Vai.

Dhanush has earlier called Aishwarya 100 times simpler than her father. Interestingly, she is also writing the book on his father The Rise of Shivaji Rao Gaekwad.
