Aishwarya Rajesh To Star Opposite Malayalam Actor Nivin Pauly

According to recent reports, National Award-winning Malayalam film director Sidhartha Siva has signed Kollywood beauty Aishwarya Rajesh of Kaaka Muttai fame for his next. The flick will star Mollywood heartthrob Nivin Pauly. The movie is yet untitled and will mark the actress’ debut in Malayalam film industry.

Revealing about the same, the Ain director stated, “We had shortlisted a few actresses for the movie. But we finally zeroed in on Aishwarya a few days ago”. Though, the filmmaker opted not to reveal much about Aishwarya’s role in the flick, he disclosed that she will play a pivotal character in the film. Nivin will be seen essaying the role of a student leader.

Speaking about her interest in Malayalam cinema, the stellar actress stated, “I always wanted to work in Malayalam. In fact, I have had a few offers from the industry including one which had Mammootty in the lead but couldn't take it up because of scheduling conflicts. However, everything came together for this movie and I am hoping that it would be the perfect launch for me in Mollywood”.

Aishwarya is excited to work with the Premam star but is also tensed about the project. “I have no clue about the language or the people there. It's also my first time in Kerala, so I am equally nervous”, added the actress.
