‘Aiyai’ To Spook Kollywood!

It seems that this upcoming movie will definitely frighten up the Kollywood audience. The horror thriller genre movie has been titled as ‘Aiyai’. The psychological thriller movie is helmed by Ilanthirayan Alan Arumugam, who is based in Australia.

The director revealed that the title ‘Aiyai’ is a Tamil word that originated from centuries back to denote homeless clan of people living in a parallel world. Regarding the movie, the director further added, “This is a psychological horror where I have followed a logical screenplay. The story revolves around an Indian student who lives in Australia. The protagonist encounters mysterious experiences. Though he gets some vague visions, he is unable to figure out the reason for going through such experiences. How he is lured by a vengenceful ghost and why he is entrapped, form the rest of the story”.

The storyline of the movie revolves around a girl in Aiyai clan, who dies in a strange manner and comes back as a ghost in order to take her revenge. Apart from its Tamil release, the movie will also be released in Hindi language.
