Ajesh Talks About His Career So Far As A Music Composer

Kollywood singer-turned-composer Ajesh is known to have sung many Tamil songs of popular Kollywood movies such as Nenjukkulla Nee, Yedhedho Penne and Kadhakaadhey. He has also composed music for movies such as Paambhu Sattai, Thiri and Vallavanukkum Vallavan.

He started his music composing career by composing music for Bobby Simha’s Paambhu Sattai. Regarding his journey as a composer, he said, “I was extremely happy when I got the chance because I really worked hard for it. It was Manobala Sir’s next production after ‘Sathuranga Vettai’ and Bobby Simha’s next after ‘Jigarthanda’. I signed the project in 2014, but the film released only in 2017. But, the songs were well received by the audience. In fact, ‘Nee Uravaga’ song was in the second place for two weeks and ‘Azhagiye’ from ‘Kaatru Veliyidai’ was leading in the radio list. That itself was a huge success for me”.

He further added, “The producer also encouraged me to try out live music for the background. Since, the story was such and the hero was playing a water delivery boy, I had to use live music and Manobala Sir gave me the confidence to do it”. Ajesh is known to be brought to limelight with the reality show Super Singer.
