Ajith To Play Conman In Sathuranga Vettai 2?

The sequel to blockbuster film Sathuranga Vettai is being planned and the rumours are rife that Ajith might star in the lead role. Thala Ajith has been approached for the role and is yet to make a decision. If Ajith accepts the offer, he would be seen playing a conman in the flick.

H. Vinoth, the director of the original, from very long, was interested in the sequel of the flick. He relied on Thiruppathi Brothers, the producers of the original, for the second chapter as well. Due to financial crunch, the film was taken over by Studio Green. Later, things did not work out with Studio Green as well. Now, as per the latest reports, the project has been taken over by Sathyajyothi Films.

Reportedly, Suriya was interested to play the lead in the film earlier. Sathuranga Vettai released last year in July. Despite of the fact that the film was made on a small budget, the flick was appreciated by the audiences as well as critics.
