Ajith To Play Role Of Great Chola King In His Next?

Yesterday it was reported that Ajith will be joining hands with Vishnuvardhan for his next film after ‘Vedhalam’. Both have worked earlier in films like ‘Arrambam’ and ‘Billa’ and will again join hands for a period film this time. The news excited Thala fans and they now want to know more about his next project. According to the reports, the Veeram actor will be seen playing the role of the great king Raja Raja Chola I in the film. Reports suggest that the director collaborated with well known novelist and screenwriter Balakumaran for the historical movie. The story of the flick will revolve around the building of the Thanjavur Temple during the times of Raja Raja Chola I.

The role of the great Chola king has been played earlier by legendary actor Sivaji Ganesan in ‘Rajaraja Cholan’ in 1973. The actor was praised for his acting in the film. It will be interesting to see whether Ajith can match the success of Sivaji Ganesan or not.
