Ajith Starrer Vivegam Release Date Postponed

The first poster of the much awaited Vivegam is out in which actor Ajith is seen displaying a chiselled body. The poster created a lot of hysteria on social media. His ready-for-action and intense eyes created a furor among the viewers. There were accusations that the actor’s body had been photoshopped. However, director of the movie, Siva, made it clear by saying that the actor worked hard to get the desired look.

It was earlier believed that the film is scheduled for Ramzan release. However, now it seems that its release date has postponed to August. “As of now, the makers are considering August 10 or August 24 for a grand release. Since the Sivakarthikeyan–Nayanthara starrer Velaikkaran is releasing on August 25, Vivegam team might consider releasing on August 10. Also, it all depends on the completion of post-production work,” revealed a source.

The makers will soon start shooting few portions of the movie in Bulgaria in the second week of March followed by the patch-work scenes in Chennai. Besides Ajith, the film also stars Kajal Aggarwal and Akshara Haasan. While Ajith will play an investigative officer, Kajal will essay the role of his wife.
