Akshara Gowda To Star In Meerinaal Thandikka Paduveer

Actress Akshara Gowda of Bogan fame has been roped in to play the female lead in Meerinaal Thandikka Paduveer. Touted to be a crime thriller, it will star Dhruva Raja, of Aanmai Thavarael fame, opposite the actress. Porko, who has served as an assistant producer for quite a few films, will be helming the project.

"The film will be a fast-paced investigative thriller, on the lines of the recent Kuttram 23. Both Dhruva and Akshara will be playing assistant commissioners of police who are investigating a crime. While Kuttram 23 was set against the medical crime backdrop, this one will involve a hitherto unseen criminal world, and will involve a lot of action scenes for both the hero and the heroine,” revealed a source.

Dharan will be providing the music score for the movie, while cinematography will be done by Venkatesh. Gopi Krishna, the editor of Thani Oruvan, has also been roped in to be a part of the flick. The film will start rolling in this week.
