Akshay Kumar To Destroy Red Fort And Parliament House In ‘2.0’

It is known that Akshay Kumar is making his Tamil debut with Rajinikanth’s ‘2.0’, much awaited sequel of ‘Enthiran’. Currently, the Lingaa star is enjoying his free time in the U.S. But after he returns, the team of the film has planned some great sequences featuring him and the Bollywood star.

Reports suggest that art director T. Muthuraj has erected a grand set in EVP Film City to film some important sequences. Also, one of the sources from the film’s unit revealed that director Shankar failed to get permission to shoot in Delhi’s Red Fort and Parliament house. Alternatively, the team will be shooting a special sequence using green screen sound stage.

Reportedly, this sequence will feature Akshay and film’s other villain Sudhanshu Pandey demolishing the Red Fort and Parliament house. VFX supervisor Srinivas Mohan will convert the green screen with the images of these buildings to make the scene look real. Rajinikanth will resume shooting for his portion after the release of ‘Kabali’ in July.
