Amala Paul Signs Thiruttu Payale 2

Bobby Simha starrer Thiruttu Payale 2 will now have Amala Paul as the female lead. Director Susi Ganeshan revealed about the development and called her role to be strong and crucial. He also appreciated the actress for her acting abilities.  

"The heroine's character is as powerful as the hero's and the villain's, so I was looking out for an actress who is a strong performer, and will look formidable when pitted against the two male stars. In fact, she is another lead in the film. And Amala Paul fit the bill perfectly", said Susi.

The director is confident that Amala’s character will bring a new side of the actress acting prowess. He went on by saying that as per him 50 percent of the work is done when one finds the right cast for a movie and he sounded confident of achieving so. The character of lead villain is played by the Muran actor, Prasanna.
