Amitabh And Abhishek Won’t Be Part Of Rajinikanth’s ‘2.0’

Few days back, it was reported that Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan may be seen playing a cameo in Rajinikanth’s next ‘2.0’. The father-son duo was spotted at the sets of the film and this fired the rumours that they will be seen in the film. However, it has been clarified that the Bollywood actors won’t feature in the film.

A source close to the film’s unit told why the two were present at the sets of the S. Shankar directorial. He said "Both Amitabh and Abhishek met Shankar in person at a well-known hotel near the stadium, where they were shooting the fight sequence. It was a formal meet-and-greet session, and the actors conveyed their wishes to Shankar for the project. As Akshay Kumar was also shooting there, Abhishek visited Akshay, and the two spent some time talking".

He thrashed the rumours that the Bachchans will be playing cameo in the science fiction thriller and said, "No, there are no such plans. The team is currently shooting with Akshay and Rajini at the stadium. In another 12 days, the Delhi schedule will be wrapped up. They might travel to Morocco for the next schedule".
