Andreah Jeremia To Play Crucial Role In Dhanush’s 'Vada Chennai'

Dhanush’s 'Vada Chennai' was launched almost four years back by director Vetrimaran. It originally featured Silambarasan in the lead role and Andreah Jeremia as a prostitute. After constant delays, Simbu walked out of the film and later Dhanush was roped in along with Samantha and Vijay Sethupathi.

The director recently confirmed that Andreah is still part of the project. He added that the Uttama Villain actress will be playing the role of a call girl in the flick. She will play a crucial role in the two-part gangster saga.

Samantha will also be playing a never done before role in the film and will be seen in deglamourised avatar. Speculations are rife that the actress will be playing a slum girl in the film. Reports suggest that the project will go on floors later this year. The Maari actor will be bankrolling the venture under his home production banner Wunderbar Films. Santhosh Narayanan will be handling the music department for the project.
