Anjali Patil Signed 'Kaala' To Be Part Of Rajinikanth’s Film

Actress Anjali Patil will make her Tamil debut with Rajinikanth’s 'Kaala'. The actress said that she accepted the offer so that she can have the opportunity to work with Rajinikanth. The film which is directed by Pa. Ranjith will see the actress playing a pivotal role.

"When I signed the project, I knew this is not the film where I'd get to prove my mettle. I signed it to feel the sheer enthusiasm of what it means to be a part of a Rajinikanth film. I wanted to experience what it's like to be around this legend," said Anjali.

The actress said that it was a fairy tale experience of working with the megastar. "He's the epitome of goodness. You see such people only in a fairy tale. He's so good to everybody around him, she said, adding the experience of being part of the Tamil industry was so different,” said the 30-year-old.

The movie will see Rajinikanth playing a slum lord who turns a gangster to fight for the oppressed Tamil staying in Mumbai. Produced by Dhanush, the flick will also feature Nana Patekar, Pankaj Tripathi, Huma Qureshi and Samuthirakani.
