Anushka Shetty Approached For ‘Thala 57’?

Few days back it was reported Ritika Singh of Irudhi Suttru fame is in talks with the makers of Ajith’s 57^th film. The actress preferred to stay tight lipped on the reports and did not confirm her involvement in the project. But sources now claim that she won’t be a part of the project. Speculations were rife that the film will have two female leads, and looks like the makers have zeroed in on the film’s other female lead.

According to reports, Anushka Shetty has been approached for ‘Thala 57’. A source from the production house revealed, "We are in talks with Anushka and are sorting out the dates with her, as she is busy with her other film commitments". The Singam 2 actress has earlier worked with the Veeram star in ‘Yennai Arindhaal’.

Rumours were doing the rounds that Vijay Sethupathi will be roped in for the film and he will play the antagonist. However, the source thrashed the reports and said, "We were never in talks with Vijay Sethupathi. The rumours are totally baseless". Siva will be helming the yet-to-be titled venture and it will be majorly shot in the US and Europe
