Aparna Vinod Talks About Her Role In ‘Vijay 60’

The team of Vijay’s 60^th film, tentatively titled as ‘Vijay 60’, recently wrapped up the first schedule. The actor shot for over a month with films female lead Keerthy Suresh. The team plans to start the next schedule from June 3 and they will be joined by film’s another female lead soon.

It is known that Mollywood actress Aparna Vinod will be seen playing the other female lead in the Bharathan directorial. She recently expressed her happiness and also talked about her role. During a recent interview she said, "I never expected to do a movie of such a scale and I am happy that I will be acting alongside Vijay as the second heroine of Vijay 60. I play a village belle, a vital character that will carry the story forward".

Reports suggest that Jagapati Babu, who will be playing the antagonist in the flick, will also join the sets of the film from the next schedule. Rumours are doing the rounds that Vijay will be seen playing dual roles in the film. It is also being said that the film will be the remake of hit 1965 film ‘Enga Veettu Pillai’, however no official announcement has been made regarding this.
