AR Rahman Scores BGM For STM Before Its Shoot

Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman has been known for his experimenting with his music and once again he has shown his talent in the upcoming film Sarvam Thaala Mayam. The film will be directed by cinematographer turned filmmaker Rajiv Menon. AR Rahman has composed the background music for the film even before shooting the scenes.

 This is the first time for a film to have its background music before shooting the sequences. It has been heard that the scenes will be synchronized with the music while shooting.  A source in the Know revealed, “The script is made in such a way that they needed to do the BGM first. There’s an intriguing aspect in it”. Also, this will be Rajiv’s first film after a gap of more than sixteen years. Actor GV Prakash, who is also ARR’s nephew, has been roped in to play the lead role in the film.

Moreover, actress Aparna Balamurali will be seen romancing the actor in the flick. The source also added that 40 minutes of re-recording has already been done by Rahman before the film went on floors. Interestingly, Rahman has already composed nine songs for STM.
