Are Karthick Naren And Gautham Menon Having A Dispute Related To The Movie ‘Naragasooran’

Kollywood filmmaker Karthick Naren is known to have helmed movies such as 16 Extremes. It is known that filmmaker Gautham Menon had approached Karthick for an upcoming project titled as ‘Naragasooran’. The two have recently indulged in a Twitter interaction which has led to a controversy regarding the upcoming movie.

Karthick’s tweet read as, “Sometimes a misplaced trust may kill you. People should think twice before taking it for a ride. The last thing you want to see is your passion getting butchered from all the directions for a mistake you did not commit. Threshold!”. Replying to the tweet, Gautham tweeted, “While some young filmmakers whine about their passion getting butchered instead of growing a pair, here’s a young team that makes an interesting short about girls, women, cricket, CSK and liberation”.

Karthick further made another tweet, which read as, ““While everybody advised against it I had the pair to trust you & collaborate, sir. In return, we were treated like trash & made to invest on our own. I think it’s better to whine & confront instead of running away. Please don’t do this to any other young filmmaker sir. It hurts!”. It has been revealed that this talk between the producer and filmmaker is regarding Gautham backing out of his task to invest in the upcoming project as a producer.
