Arjun To Be The Villian Of Vishal’s Forthcoming Film ‘Irumbu Thirai’?

Vishal’s ‘Kaththi Sandai’ pooled a decent amount at the box-office and now the news has it that Vishal is gearing up for his forthcoming film ‘Irumbu Thirai’ and the forthcoming producer council election, which is scheduled to take place in March. Vishal himself will be producing the film and debutant director, PS Mithran will be helming it. Actress Samantha will be essaying a lead role in the film.

Also, there were speculations that ‘Action King’ Arjun is being zeroed for a role in the film. As per sources, “The news is true and talks have been initiated with the actor. But, he is yet to come on board. We have completed shooting some major sequences in the city.” Yuvan Shankar Raja has been roped in to croon the music of the film, and cinematographer George C Williams and editor Ruben will be a part of the technical team.

Earlier, we learnt that Vishal’s favourite actor Arya was roped in to play the stylish villain in the thriller. However, Arya opted out of the film citing that it wasn’t the right time for him to play a grey character. Since then, the team has been scouting for apt replacements for the role of an antagonist.
