ARK Rajaraja To Write Tamil Dialogues For Kollywood Remake Of Mahesh Babu’s Brahmotsavam

Actor Mahesh Babu ’s Telugu flick Brahmotsavam which was directed by Srikanth Addala is all set to have a Tami remake. According to reports in Times of India, the director planned to make a film bilingual in Tamil and Telugu. They had even released its title in Tamil font with Mahesh saying that it would mark his Kollywood debut.

However, due to a change in the plan, the film released only in Telugu. But now, the family entertainer will have a Tamil version and will be titled Anirudh. ARK Rajaraja, who has penned Tamil dialogues for the movie said, "I've penned lines of a bunch of Mahesh Babu's films before and it took me close to 15 days to finish work on this one. We've trimmed almost 29 minutes from the film by removing sequences that don't suit the audience's sensibilities here."

When asked from him about his biggest challenge of working in the movie, he said, "The story revolves around a man who takes it upon himself to reunite his family. Though we have a joint family set-up in Tamil Nadu, the way we function is vastly different from what's shown in the film. The characters in the film love celebrations and have one function or the other on a regular basis, which most of us might think is pointless. But it's their way of living every moment. So, to write dialogues in such a way that it highlights the essence of the scene was quite a challenge. The film has a lot of lighter moments and audience will enjoy it."

Apart from Mahesh Babu, Brahmotsavam also starred Kajal Aggarwal , Samantha, Sathyaraj and Pranitha Subhash.
