Arrest Warrant Out For Kabali's Producer Kalapuli.S.Thanu

Celebrated producer and also the Tamil Film Producers Council President Kalapuli.S.Thanu is in hot water. The Kabali filmmaker has been issued an arrest warrant for allegedly owing Rs 2 lakh to a person and not paying him till this date. The case file reveals the man to be a theatre owner in Nagercoil.

In his defence, Thanu has responded by claiming, "This is a bogus case. The problem is between the person who distributed my production venture 'Thirumagan' released in 2007 and this theatre owner. However the latter has dragged my name in this case with ulterior motives. I have not received a single penny from this person. The truth will come out in a day or two".

Presently, Thanu is producing Indrajith, which is in its filming stage right now. It is an action adventure venture with direction from his son, Kalaprabhu. The lead pair is played by Gautham Karthik and Sonarika Bhadoria.
