Arvind Swami To Play A Cop In Vanangamudi, Deets Inside

Arvind Swamy rose to fame with his power-house performances in Mani Ratnam’s Roja and Bombay and became everyone’s favourite. However, despite working in many super-duper hit films, he couldn’t make it big in the industry. The actor is now all geared up to team up with the director of his 1997 hit film Pudhayal.  

The film, titled as Vanangamudi, will see him playing the role of a cop. While it was already reported that Ritika Singh will play the female lead along with Arvind as the male lead, actor Nandita Shweta will also be seen playing a cop and Thambi Ramaiah have also been roped in for pivotal roles in the film. The makers are yet to zero in other artists and technical crew members.  

The actor’s character in the film will be called as Anbazhagan for which he is gaining weight. Reports added that the film will go on the floors on the 14th of this month. The movie is being helmed by Selva. On a related note, Arvind has completed shooting for the Tamil-Hindi remake of the Marathi film Kaksparsh and will start dubbing for it soon.
