Ashwin Jerome Switches To Acting

Dancer Ashwin Jerome is gearing up for his Kollywood debut. Prashanth G. Sekar will direct the movie and this thriller is titled Yaanum Theeyavan. The filmmakers have signed Varsha Bollamma as the female lead for the flick.

"I play a guy who's just out of college. He marries his longtime sweetheart, which is then followed by a gruesome murder. The story revolves around the couple who happened to cross path with a gangster. The film is based on real-life incident, and the screenplay is extremely gripping”, said Ashiwn.

Interestingly, choreographer-actor Raju Sundaram will be playing villain for very first time. Ashwin added, "Prashanth worked as an assistant to director Hari. When I was listening to scripts, I happened to hear about him through my friend. I also heard about the real-life incident, and was kicked about the project”. Talking about his film journey, Ashwin revealed that he has trained in hip-hop for many years and hold engineering degree, but always wanted to be part of industry.
