Atlee Starts His Banner A For Apple

Atlee is one person who has achieved so much in such a short period of time. He has garnered appreciation from mass audience in such a short bout. The director who started his career by assisting senior directors has become a successful director in four years.

His last two movies Raja Rani and Theri were superhit and now the director is busy helming his forthcoming Vijay 61 starring Vijay in the lead. Now apart from directing, he has started his own banner A for Apple. “I want to encourage the talent and provide a platform for fresh and new talents. On behalf on my A for Apple producing house, I would be producing three movies to introduce my assistants as film makers,” said Atlee while interacting with media.

Atlee’s first movie as a producer is Sangili Bungili Kadhava Thorae which is directed by Ike who is the former assistant director of Kamal Haasan. The film will feature Jiiva, Sri Divya and Soori playing the lead. The flick is expected to hit the screens on May 19, 2017. Atlee’s second film as a producer will mark the directorial debut of Surya Balakumaran, who is the son of noted novelist and screenwriter Balakumaran.
