Atlee Talks About His Relationship With Vijay

Vijay’s ‘Theri’ is ruling the box office and is expected to do more business over the weekend. The film has already raced its way to 100 crore club and has become the first film to cross the Rs. 100 crore mark within six days of its release. It is being said that it is the greatest hit of Vijay’s career.

Director Atlee has become the youngest director to join the elite 100 crore club.  During a recent interview to an online portal, he recently talked about his relationship with the Puli actor. He said, "Since I have travelled with him in the past, I never hesitated to text him even at late night.  He would reply promptly. He also used to chat with me and would share his views about the films he had watched”.

He added that when he decided to do a film with the Kaththi actor, he took the professional approach.  He contacted Vijay’s manager to take appointment for the narration of the script. The spectacular success of the film may bring back the duo for sequel of ‘Theri’. Let’s hope that we get to hear about the second instalment soon.
