Audio Release Date Of Dhanush Starrer ‘Kodi’ Confirmed

‘Kodi’ is a highly looked-for flick of Kollywood. It is a political thriller film written and directed by R. S. Durai Senthilkumar. The film's music is composed by Santhosh Narayanan. Lately, it was announced by the lead actor of this impending project that the music of this film will release on October 5. However, ‘Kodi’ is slated to hit the silver screens on October 27 during Diwali season.

This is Dhanush's first film with music director Santhosh Narayanan, who has been consistently delivering chartbuster albums. The last composition of this profound composer was the music of superstar Rajinikanth’s ‘Kabali’. Reportedly, Shriya Saran was the first choice for the heroine by Dhanush, but she couldn't allot dates for the film. This film features Dhanush in dual roles alongside Trisha and Anupama Parameswaran.

Interestingly, ‘Kodi’ is Dhanush's 31st film as an actor and the first film in which he has played dual roles. The 33-year-old actor has been a part of the tinsel town from past 14 years. For his marvellous acting, he has won 3 National Film Awards and 7 Filmfare Awards.
