Badava Gopi To Commentate In TNPL

Popular television host and actor Badava Gopi is a busy man these days. The star has been roped in for commentary of inaugural Tamil Nadu Premier League, which starts from today onwards. And this is not it, he would also give his voice for India v WI, T-20 series scheduled in U.S.

"I'm associating with a sports channel, and had to impress them with around 500 Tamil words which substitute cricketing phrases and parlance. It is a British game, and therefore, it's a little difficult to replace all the English terms (like LBW or caught & bowled) used in the game, with Tamil words, but definitely not impossible”, said Gopi.

He added that more people should take up commentary in Tamil and said that it will be a whole different experience for the audiences. Gopi also appreciated the ground and compared it with cricket surfaces in Australia.
