    ‘Beep Song’ Creates Controversy

    Few days ago, the ‘Beep Song’, allegedly sung by Silambarasan and composed by young music sensation Anirudh Ravichander was leaked online. The song has gone viral and almost everyone is talking about the song which has distinctive lyrics and music. But the duo, which is allegedly linked to the song are in trouble.

    According to reports, a police complain has been lodged against the two for by The All India Democratic Women's Association (AIDWA), for showing women in bad light. A representative of the association said, "Artists have certain responsibilities toward the society. How did they even have the guts to make a song like this? We want them to take off the song off the net totally. We are also going to demand a legal action against the two for using such obscenities in the lyrics".

    Reportedly, Simbu’s father T. Rajendar has filed a complaint to the Police Commissioner. The excerpts of the complain read, “The music track which was uploaded in the YouTube and circulated widely is a rough composed song with dummy words without proper lyrics along with some interpolated words which were not used by my son or the composer at the time of composing the said music’. On the other hand, Anirudh Ravichander claims that he has not composed the music for the song.
