A biopic on Velupillai Prabhakaran in making

Southern filmmaker Gowthaman is working on a film based on the life of LTTE leader Velupillai Prabhakaran. He said, “The film is a culmination of 10 years of my work. It is my life's ambition to portray the LTTE struggle and its leader on the big screen.” The director has everything clear in his mind and is looking to cast right actors for the particular roles in the movie.

Recently released Hindi flick, Madras Cafe has faced ban in Tamil Nadu as it was too related to LTTE somewhere. It will be interesting to see how Gowthaman manages to release his flick without any controversy. He said, “Why should there be a problem when I'm just telling the truth behind things? If Madras Cafe can be passed by the censors, then, why shouldn't my film not be allowed?”
