Bobby Simha Roped In For Sequel Of ‘Thiruttu Payale’

Director Susi Ganeshan’s ‘Thiruttu Payale’ released in 2006 and did a colossal business at the box office. The film recently completed 10 years and the makers announced the sequel on the occasion. The lead for the film has been finalized by the makers.  

Reports suggest that Jeevan won’t be featuring in the second instalment. National Award-winning actor Bobby Simha has been roped in to play the lead in the flick. The actor’s last two ventures have performed superbly at the box office and his fans would be delighted to know that he has bagged another exciting project.

In a recent interview director Susi Ganeshan opened up about shooting plans of the film. He said, “Just like the first part, 'Thiruttu Payale 2' will be predominantly shot in a foreign island on a grand scale. The story demands such level of visual grandeur and richness". The film venture will be bankrolled under AGS Entertainment and rest of the cast will be soon be finalized.
