Celebs Praise Chennai Engira Madras

Actor Suriya recently launched director Aravind Kumar’s pilot film Chennai Engira Madras on his Twitter account. The film has been praised by many celebrities for the novelty present in it. Among the stars who lauded the movie as well as appreciated the director for its making and the concept include Rajinikanth , Suriya, Thanu, Madhan Karky.

Rajinikanth watched the pilot at his home and heaped praises on the director for coming up with an excellent concept. “I am surprised to know that this is not a trailer of an actual feature film. And it’s just a trial attempt to make it big as a feature film. I wish that the story should turn in to a big film with noted actors working in it.” He liked the movie’s theme of undercover investigative journalist.

The movie is shot in live unseen locations of north Chennai and is inspired from true events based on underworld crimes and journalism. Actors Subhalekha Sudhakar, Moonar Ramesh, Mime Gopi, Gowrishankar, Prashanth Bala , Raja, Dhiiran, Jones and Karthik a seven-year-old boy from north Chennai forms the film’s cast. The flick’s music will be composed by five music composers, Sundar Murthy, Inbaraj, Subhash, Khashish Verma and Parsa.
