Censor Board Clears Decks For Nisabdham, Awards ‘U’ Certificate

The deaf and mute actress Abhinaya, who is being lauded playing a childless mother, who goes through humiliation from the society in the lately-released Kuttram 23, is all set to feature in another sensitive subject. The film, which has been titled Nisabdham, revolves around child abuse, and Abhinaya is playing the role of a mother of a five-year-old girl. Michael Arun, who was a part of RB Choudhary’s production ventures, is helming this film. However, with this film, he will mark his directorial debut.

Talking about the subject of the film, Michael says, “I was very careful that I should not sensationalise the idea. But at the same time, it has to be addressed effectively. I wrote the screenplay in such a way that the message is conveyed visually in a proper manner. I took inspirations from real-life incidents and newspaper reports on the issue.”

The Censor Board lauded the director for handling the subject of the film well. Also, the board has thus awarded a clean ‘U’ Certificate to the film. In the film, Ajay will be seen playing the male lead and Baby Sathanya will also be seen in a pivotal role. Desimartini wishes strokes of luck to the team of the film.
