A week back it was reported that the Malaysia schedule of superstar Rajinikanth’s upcoming film ‘Kabali’ is likely to get delayed. But now the reports suggest that the crew will soon start the shooting there and it will last for a month. The movie is almost half complete and already the distributors are trying their best to bag the opportunity of acquiring the distribution rights.

According to the reports, Cine Galaxy Inc., one of the prime distributors of Indian films overseas, has acquired the Tamil and Telugu rights of the film. Reports suggest that the rights were sold for a whopping amount of Rs. 9 crores. The amount is said to be much higher than the actor’s last two outing ‘Linga’ and ‘Enthiran’. The price is expected to rise when the film is ready for release.

The Pa. Ranjith directorial will feature Rajinikanth as an aging don and the actor will be seen without makeup in major portions of the film. Radhika Apte will feature as the female lead in the movie. The film bankrolled by S. Thanu is expected to hit the theatre screens in April, 2016.
