Comedian Vivek’s Son Passes Away At 13

Prasanna Kumar, son of popular comedian of Tamil Film Industry Vivek, passed away last night at a private hospital in Chennai. According to reports, the 13-year old was suffering from Dengue fever and had brain stem dysfunction as well. He was admitted a month back and was being treated since then.

Reports suggest that Prasanna’s case was so sensitive that he had to be put on ventilator support several times during his treatment. A source revealed “The child was suffering with acute case of dengue fever. While on treatment, he also suffered from brain stem dysfunction. All these days, he was on and off ventilator support. On Thursday afternoon, he passed away without responding to treatment”.

He breathed his last at 4.25 P.M. on Thursday. Reportedly, Chennai Corporation is denying that Prasanna died of dengue. A senior Health officer of the civic body revealed that the hospital did not report a Dengue case and Prasanna had undergone a brain surgery for a chronic cerebral problem.
