Filmmaker M. Shyam Kumar also commented about the movie, "We are also planning a promotional song for the film, which will feature him.” He further conveys the meaning of film’s title, "Aakko is a local slang in certain parts of the city like Royapuram, and is used to refer extremely curious and over enthusiastic youngsters. As the film is about three enthusiastic youngsters, we felt this title will be very apt." Aakko produced by Deepan Boopathy and Ratesh Velu, is given music by Anirudh himself. The film starring Geethan Britto, Arjun and Swaminathan will release this year but the date is not decided yet.
