Composer Devi Sri Prasad wants to act in films

Popular South music composer Devi Sri Prasad may soon be seen acting on the big screen, according to sources. They reported that DSP wants to debut as an actor with his good friend Shriya Saran and the film most probably will be a musical. A source informed, "DSP has a good stage presence and can act and dance well. In fact, he has appeared in a couple of songs that he has composed as well”.

The source added, “He has wanted to make his acting debut for a long while now. But his composing assignments have kept him busy. Even now, he is working on a handful of projects in both south and north Indian industries. But simultaneously, he has been on the hunt for a good script and a perfect director to give him his big break." While both DSP and Shriya remained unavailable for comment, the actress's manager tells us, "Shriya hasn't been approached for a film with DSP, but the composer is fervently looking for an apt script to make his acting debut."
