Confirmed: Simbu Starrer Vaalu to Release on August 14

After many release date announcements, it has been officially confirmed that the Silambarasan starrer Vaalu is releasing on August 14. The paper advertisement of the flick along with the release date is out. Also, theatres such as Devi and Abirami have opened advanced bookings for the flick.

Simbu has also made a confirmation in a tweet. The actor wrote, “#Vaalu Release Update -  #TR says : "All issues sorted out just now, film set 4 release on Aug 14. " Good News 4 @iam_str and all fans”. As the release date was confirmed, the film started trending on Twitter.

Vaalu has tangled itself in several controversies in the past. First, there were financial issues with the distributers and hence the release of the film was delayed. As the court case cleared, the makers announced August 14 as the new release date of the flick.  From a couple of days, it was said that the makers of the film are looking for another release date as Udhayanidhi Stalin was blocking screens for Vasuvum Saravananum Onna Padichavanga starring Arya, which is also hi9tting the theatres on the same date. Now, that the release date has been confirmed, Simbu’s fans enthusiastic for the much anticipated film.
