Music composer D. Imman made his debut in Kollywood with Vijay's Tamizhan in 2002. Having completed 16 years in the industry, Imman has 100 movies to his credit. He will be working for the first time in space film Tik Tik Tik.

He also says that he doesn’t let his musicians wait for their payment. "There are 100 musicians working for my films. No sooner the job gets over, I pay them promptly,” said the Mynaa composer. Imman has not only composed for films, but has also provided music to TV serials. "I have scored for more than 75 television serials which gave me clarity and self-assurance when I forayed into the big screen, thanks to Kutty Padmini who introduced me in serials,” he said.

Imman feels that he gives his best when he teams up with lyricist Yugabharathi. He also thanked singer Shreya Goshal with whom he has teamed up several times. Praising her, he said, "She is one singer I can depend on anytime. She allocates time for me despite her busy schedules and even when she is abroad."

Imman has about half a dozen films in his kitty including Sivakarthikeyan film, Karthi's Kadikutty Singam, Pugazhendhi Ennum Naan, legendary MGR's Kizhakku Africavil Raju and Arvind Swamy's Vanangamudi.
