Actor Daniel Balaji, who is riding the waves of success with his promising performance in Bairavaa, had been roped in to essay the role of an antagonist in Arvind Swami’s next, titled Vanangamudi. However, the latest news is that the actor has pulled out of the project because of date issues. Presently, the actor is busy filming for Udhayanidhi Stalin and Manjima Mohan-starrer Ippadai Vellum.

During a chat with the Deccan Chronicle, Daniel says, “Initially, when I was approached for the movie, they said my portions would be shot in April. But, they had some change in their shooting plans and wanted my dates for the immediate schedule. Since I am busy with a couple of projects I couldn’t allot the dates. So, I did not have any choice but to opt out of the project.”

Daniel is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film, Vidhi Madhi Ultaa starring Rameez and Janani Iyer along with Mayavan starring Sundeep Kishan and Lavanya Tripathi in the titular roles. He also has Vetri Maaran’s Vada Chennai starring Dhanush, Amala Paul and Vijay Sethupathi in his kitty. However, Vada Chennai is likely to take off in March.
